Import and export

File -> Import… and File -> Export… open the Import/Export hub: groups on the left, description and action buttons on the right. Only directions Samba can perform are listed (for example CuePilot is export-only).

Imported cues land on the selected track unless the file names tracks. Many formats show a preview, then Replace or Add.

Samba cuelist

Preview can show marker count, track count, frame rate, time range, and warnings. Then:

Choice Effect
Replace Clear target cues and import
Add Keep existing cues and append
Cancel Do nothing

One-liner when to use for each hub entry (names match the Import/Export UI).
